Originally, The Jewelry Market was started as a costume jewelry store in the 80's.  Later, the store was moved to 3 S. Main and began selling authentic gold and diamond jewelry locally. A crew was assembled in 1991, and the store was relocated to its current location at 43 S. Main Street @ Monroe Ave. A proper jewelry shop with manufacturing capabilities was created, allowing the store to thrive and continue as a staple in Downtown Memphis for the past 35+ years.
